Truong Thanh recognizes the importance of preserving and enhancing the environment as these actions ultimately affect the health, safety and welfare of our customers, employees and the surrounding communities. We are therefore committed to the serious stewardship of the environment by constantly increasing our awareness of forest management issues and implementing internal policies and procedures to ensure that we fully comply with national and international regulations. In an effort to continually re-evaluate and enhance our environmental performance, we have updated and extended our Environment Management Program, shown below:  

• Striving to maximize efficiency of resources through new product development, upgrading production technology, and reducing emissions to air, land and water
• Implementing a program to ensure that our employees have the training, skills and knowledge necessary to abide by our internal policies and proactively protect and enhance the environment
• Working with environmental groups, the academic community and government agencies to increase understanding and contribute to the  forest management
• Continuously exploring and seeking international certifications pertaining to environmental preservation and management.
• Participating in the activities of Vietnam Forest Trade & Network (VFTN), a member to WWF.
• Planting 100,000 ha of forest in Vietnam.
