TECHNICAL STANDARDS OF FLOORING:
Wood:
No loose knots, sapwood, cracking, pin-holes, blue stain, machine defects, rot, bark pockets, etc. Back face allows mixed color. All timbers used in Truong Thanh come from well-managed forests with replanting schemes and other environmental control programs. Flooring is always straight - no bending, warping, cupping or twisting.
Moisture Content:
10% ± 2% when being shipped. The wood is originally dried down to 6-8% and allowed to stabilize to 10% over 2 weeks of being seasoned.
Glue Durability:
Kony Bond - made in Japan, reaching the Standard D4 of Europe and the JIS of Japan – strength is not affected under any cold or boiling water. Formaldehyde:
Free
Final sanding:
Sandpaper grit #180 to #320, depending on customer's requirement, by Wide Belt Sander.
Surface smoothness:
No scratches or dents or rough areas on the surface or in the finish.
Pre-finished:
PU or UV coated, or oiled.
PACKAGING:
For 90mm width: 10pcs/ctn, 35ctns/pallet (5 cross; 7 high)
For 130mm width: 7pcs/ctn, 42ctns/pallet (7 cross; 6 high)
Packed face to face and back to back with mirror mat between faces in carton boxes with attached label.
All pallets wrapped in plastic and securely strapped. Pallets to have 50mm strapped on dunnage. No green wood for pallets.
All flooring must be inspected and wiped clean at the time of packaging to assure that faces will not be scratched. |
